Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager
Dane was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. Prior to starting college at LSU, he worked in the construction industry getting hands-on experience in the field. In December 2016, Dane graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Shortly after, he moved to Roswell, GA with his fiancé Nikki Purcell. While Nikki was working at Moeller Purcell Construction, Dane continued to pursue his career in Physical Therapy and graduated from Emory with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2020.
In late 2020, Nikki was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare form of cancer. While she was sick and unable to work, Dane would help with small Moeller Purcell projects to help alleviate some of the needs that her absence created. While caring for Nikki, Dane continued to practice as a physical therapist until her passing in November 2021. After some deep reflection and thought, Dane decided to join the MPCC team to continue Nikki’s legacy and to live out her dream of building the company to something greater than it already was when she arrived. Dane officially joined the MPCC team as a Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager in January 2022. Dane takes the same approach to construction as he did with healthcare – every detail matters, and each job, much like each patient, deserves the same attention and care as the one before.
Outside of work, Dane loves spending time with his friends and family. He’s a huge fan of LSU athletics (Geaux Tigers), live music, and golfing. Dane is also a member of Northpoint Community Church in Alpharetta.
