Steven Sylvester

Superintendent/Assistant Project Manager

Steven was born in Enterprise, AL and raised in McDonough, GA.  He graduated from Union Grove High School in 2008 and accepted a full scholarship to play football for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.  Steven played linebacker and was a four-year letter winner, three-year starter, and team captain while at GT, as well as winning an ACC Championship in 2009.  Steven graduated from Tech in December of 2011 with a degree in Communications. His first job out of college was with Enterprise Rent-a-Car.  After working there for year, Steven went back to Georgia Tech to obtain his master’s degree in building construction. While in school he also assumed the role of a graduate assistant football coach for his former coach, Paul Johnson.  After graduating with his master’s in 2015, Steven moved to Jacksonville, FL where he was a college football coach at Jacksonville University from 2016 to 2019. He was responsible for the running backs as well as the special teams.

Steven moved back to Georgia in 2020 and began working for Holder Construction Company as a field coordinator and eventually senior field coordinator from 2020 to 2022.  Steven joined the Moeller-Purcell family in October of 2022 as a superintendent and assistant project manager.  Outside of work, he enjoys going to sporting events, working out, cooking, and spending time with family.  Steven and his wife Jasmyn live in Douglasville, GA with their son Roman.
